What people ask about this.
Are you tracking staff all day?
No. Location is read at the moment of a clock-in or clock-out, purely to confirm the punch happened on site, and the distance is stored with that punch. There is no background tracking, and this is stated in our privacy policy.
What if someone forgets to clock out?
A reminder fires at the expected end of shift. If the punch is still missing, the timesheet raises a discrepancy flag for the manager to correct before approval — with the correction recorded.
What happens with no phone signal?
The app queues the punch locally with its real timestamp and uploads it when connectivity returns. The record shows both the time it happened and the time it synced.
Can we use a physical clocking terminal?
Kiosk mode is the supported route: any tablet or spare device becomes a fixed clock-in point. There is no separate hardware to buy or maintain.
