Cookie policy

A short policy, because we use very little. No advertising cookies, and no third-party trackers on this website.

Last updated: 4 August 2026 · Applies to: taskbithr.com and the TaskBit application

1. This website

taskbithr.com sets no cookies at all. It is a static site with no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party embeds. Fonts are self-hosted rather than loaded from a font network, so no request leaves your browser to another company as you read this page.

If that changes — if we add analytics, for example — this page will be updated first and a consent banner will appear before any non-essential storage is written.

2. The application

Once you sign in to TaskBit, the application stores a small amount of data in your browser. All of it is strictly necessary to keep you signed in and the interface usable, so it does not require consent — but you should know it is there.

KeyTypePurposeLifetime

Offline clock-in queueBrowser storageHolds a clock-in made without connectivity until it can be sentUntil successfully synced

Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout pages when you enter payment details. Those are governed by Stripe's cookie policy, not ours.

3. How to control them

You can clear browser storage at any time through your browser settings. Clearing it while signed in to TaskBit will sign you out, and will discard any clock-in still waiting to sync — so sync before you clear if you are offline.

Because everything the application stores is strictly necessary, blocking it entirely will prevent TaskBit from working.

4. Changes

This page is updated whenever what we store changes. Questions: privacy@taskbithr.com.
